Wisconsin River Canoe Rental Information and Rates
We believe that we maintain the youngest and highest quality fleet of canoes in Wisconsin, if not the Midwest. We are approaching our 10th year of renting only Wenonah Canoes, the leader in canoe design and quality. .”][/caption] You’ll be paddling one of our 200 Wenonah Adirondack canoes, 16′ long, 36″ wide (35″ between the gunwales), a lightweight 62 pounds that’s made from Royalex (a type of plastic layup) and comfortable web seats. These canoes are quiet in the water, track straight and are easy to handle for even the beginner. All of our canoe rentals include your transport up or down river based on the location you decide to paddle out of (contact us for details), vests and paddles. Our canoes are designed for a maximum occupancy of 2 adults and 1 child under 70 lbs, this is for both safety and comfort.

Reservations are taken with balance due on Visa, MasterCard or Discover. 100% refund with cancellations 7 days prior to the start of your rental date, minus a 5% processing fee. After 7 days, a canoe rental credit good for the same paddling season will be issued, which can also be redeemed as a gift certificate. Once your paddle hits the water, there are no refunds or credits.
First and foremost, paddling is a wilderness experience so we do expect you to have rain gear and be prepared. We will not come pick you up early from your trip because it has started raining. If you decide to cancel within 7 days of your start date because of rain in the forecast, Wisconsin River Outings will provide you with a same season paddle credit. You can then reschedule your trip at a later date, based on availability. Providing you arrive at our location on the day of your reservation, if there is lightning at 12 PM (Noon) on the day of your departure, we will not put you on the water and we will give you a full refund. If you cancel over the phone, we will give you a same season paddle credit only. Rain is not a reason to refund your trip. Once your trip has begun, there are no refunds or credits.
High Water Policy
There are times in the Spring as well as during wet summers when, for safety, we will not put people on the river. The following are the parameters we use on the morning of your trip for not putting people on the river during high water: Single Day Rentals: USGS readings at Muscoda of 20,000 cf/s Multiday Rentals: USGS readings at Muscoda of 15,000 cf/s These readings can be found on the U.S. Geological Survey website, www.usgs.gov. If you need further assistance, please email or call and we’d be happy to help you.
